La Lonja de Seda

A splendid Gothic structure constructed in the 15th century, La Lonja de Seda was, at the time of fortification, a home to the Silk Exchange of the city. Silk Exchange was the marketplace where the well-known Valencian silk was put under trade with the merchants and was further sold all over the European continent. This impressive building is one of the finest examples of Gothic civil structural design in Europe.

Palacio del Marques de Dos Aguas

Also named as the Marquise Palace, Palacio del Marques de Dos Aguas now features the National Ceramic Museum. This stunning palace is well-known for its affluently decorated facade with an outstandingly carved alabaster doorway. There is a museum in the palace boasting over 5,000 exhibits of traditional pottery from Valencia and its nearby regions.
