Air Asia Requests Switching off Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Devices until Disembarkation!
With Samsung announcing recall of its Galaxy Note 7, due to safety issues over its battery, AirAsia & AirAsia X prohibits guests from turning on and charging Galaxy Note 7 on all flights. Passengers traveling on AirAsia and AirAsia X with a Samsung Galaxy Note 7 should keep their devices switched off until disembarkation from the aircraft. They are also not allowed to keep devices in any checked baggage. For further assistance regarding this guideline, travelers are suggested to connect with AirAsia and AirAsia X ground staff.
