A 48-acre park in Green Bay, Heritage Hill State Park is nestled on the east bank of the Fox River. It is lush parkland boasting a heritage village made up of twenty five restored buildings dating back to the 17th century. These buildings are dotted all over the park. In the park, there is also a fur trader's cabin dating back to the 19th century.
Running along the Fox River in the northeastern Wisconsin from the downtown Green Bay area, Fox River State Recreational Trail follows the river to the Brown County Line. It is a popular trail among hikers and ramblers who wish to enjoy local sites.
Promoting and preserving the history of railroad travel in the country, National Railroad Museum boasts an impressive collection of more than 70 engines and carriages. In the museum, there are also several static displays such as railroad memorabilia, photographs, and educational films for visitors to enjoy. Visitors can enjoy ride on the "Thomas the Tank Engine" that chugs around the museum.
Nestled near the mouth of the majestic Fox River, Bay Beach Amusement Park boasts a wealth of rides and attractions such as amusement rides, roller coasters, and concessions. There are also activities like arcade games and a food court area.
