One of the most famous areas in Chandigarh, Sector 10 is characterized by the Tank Monument which is a favorite hangout zone for both locals and visitors. Sector 1 is a bustling area in Chandigarh whose most famous attraction is the artificial reservoir of Sukhna Lake. The lake is excellent for rowing and yachting and its bordering areas offer scenic walking paths. There is also a mini-amusement park in case you want to try some fun-filled rides. Bird lovers can’t miss to see cranes, storks and other migratory birds near the lake.
