Baltimore, the largest city in the state of Maryland, is the 30th-most
populous city in the United States. It was originally and historically a
working-class port city. The city is nicknamed a ‘City of Neighborhoods’
since it is home to 72 designated historic districts that are all

artworks, the oldest of them is about 5000 years old. It was founded in
1934 and puts on display the Ancient Egyptian artworks, Greek sculptures,
and illuminated manuscripts besides many Greek, Roman and Byzantine
Maryland Zoo, opened for public in the last quarter of 19th
century, is among the best and one of the three oldest zoological parks in
the USA. This zoo houses over 2000 animals that live in different exhibits
that closely establish their respective natural habitats.
Best Time to Visit Baltimore
Summer season, the months from June to August are the best to book flights
from Phoenix to Baltimore. Travelers can book flights from PHX to BWI
during summers to enjoy famous cultural events like Artscape (in July) and
the Maryland State Fair (in August or September). It is advised to book
Baltimore flights in advance to avoid paying more during peak season.
