Water Tank
Considered as the icon of the city, the historical water tank in San Luis Potosi is a neoclassical monument. It was designed by the painter and engraver Jose Guerrero. This water tank was built to supply water from the Sierra de San Miguelito Spring. Water Tank is well-preserved and ornate and is positioned in midst of a lush park-like area just across the street from Jardin Colon. There are bronze statues of water boys at this water tank.
Tangamanga I Park
One of the largest urban parks in the country, Tangamanga I Park was inaugurated in 1985. It is now an important lung of the city.
