Oklahoma City National Memorial is an excellent place to visit for history buffs. It is a tribute to victims, rescuers, survivors, and others affected by the events of 19th April 1995, the date of bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. Field of empty chairs and the reflecting pool have become famous symbols of the city.
Oklahoma City Zoo treats tourists with over 500 animal species and interesting garden displays. This zoo is in operation for over hundred years. This museum also runs a popular film program.
Also known as the National Cowboy Hall of Fame, National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum unfolds the life in the Wild West. The museum features a wide collection of historical materials, sculptures, and pictures. National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum remains open daily from 10 AM to 5 PM local time
