Lili?uokalani Park and Gardens mostly consist of several early 20th century Edo-Japanese gardens in Hilo on the island of Hawai’i. These gardens are considered to be the largest of their kind outside Japan. The park is set across a picture-perfect backdrop of koi ponds, statues, pagodas, and a Japanese teahouse. It is connected via a footbridge to an adjacent island called Moku Ola that once had an ancient temple dedicated to healing.

Richardson Beach Park is a public park consisting of calm waters, coral reef, fish, natural seawalls made of lava, exotic flora, natural pools, and coves. This park is best known for its unusual combination of natural beauty and tranquility set beautifully across a backdrop of blue waters and tropical vegetation. A star attraction here is the Richardson Beach, which is the only beach in the Hilo that has both black sand and green sand.
