Cristo de la Concordia

Perched on the top of the San Pedro Hill, Cristo de la Concordia is the tallest statue of its kind in the world. This statue is a bit taller than that of Rio de Janeiro and offers tourists a stunning view of the city. The construction of this statue was done by the Catholic Church. Cristo de la Concordia features massive concrete structure with extended arms representing the hospitality of the native peoples.

National Park Carrasco

An apt place to visit for nature lovers, National Park Carrasco features incredible cloud forests, exquisite mountain landscape, lush vegetation, deep valleys and canyons, waterfalls, and torrential rivers. Some of the main attractions of the park consist of the Repechon Caverns, the wildlife sanctuary, and a lot of other caves with a lot of bats and birdlife. Located at east of the city, the park is home to about 3000 species of larger plants and over 382 registered species of fauna.

National Park Tunari

Located at the west of Cochabamba, National Park Tunari is home to about 400,000 hectares of green area and a number of lakes providing most of the water of the city. The landscape of the park is mountainous containing semi-wet flatlands that are characterized by belts of trees, sloped scrublands, and bushes. Till now, 23 species of birds, 13 mammal species, 2 amphibian species, and 2 reptile species have been registered in this national park.

Archeological Museum of Cochabamba

The Archeological Museum of Cochabamba puts on display somewhere around 40,000 archaeological, paleontological, and ethnographic pieces mostly from the Department of Cochabamba and some from other regions in the country.
