The most famous attraction in Atlantic City, the Boardwalk includes about everything worth exploring in the city. The Boardwalk includes the four-mile long stretch of wood built in 1870. It can be easily explored by bike, on foot, or in a famous rolling chair. Another highlight of this stretch is the famous Entrance to the Stars, which is city's version of Hollywood's Walk of Fame with handprints from stars such as Cher, Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder, and Johnny Carson.

A 228-step lighthouse, Absecon Lighthouse is famous for still boasting the original First-Order Fresnel lens that was installed when the lighthouse was built in 1857. It is the tallest lighthouse in New Jersey and the third tallest in the United States. Absecon Lighthouse is made of granite blocks, iron, and brick and is painted in its original yellow and black. This lighthouse offers stunning views over the Atlantic. Major highlights inside the structure are an interesting museum and lighthouse keeper's quarters.
An excellent destination for those traveling with kids, Ocean City is located at a distance of around 11 miles south of the Atlantic City. This place offers some of the best beaches on the Atlantic coast and has been made completely alcohol-free since its establishment. Ocean City also has a Boardwalk boasting an exciting blend of shops and dining options in its scenic downtown core.
