The museum itself is housed inside a Ford Dealership of 1914. Some star attractions include a 1901 curved-dash Oldsmobile, a 1911 Model T Ford (the highest selling American automobiles then), a 1937 bullet-proof Canton Police Car and a hand-carved 1937 Packard Hearse.

The Akron Zoo is the most visited zoo in Summit County, and it ranks among the top 10% of all zoos and aquariums in the United States. It is home to over 700 animals that are divided into six different themed areas. The zoo’s largest exhibit is called the ‘Legends of the Wild’, and it consists of a 25-foot waterfall and more than 15 animal exhibits.
