Located on mahatma Gandhi Road, Jama Masjid is counted among the finest architectural specimens in the city. This mosque is also known as Jumma Masjid. Jama Masjid was built by Sultan Ahmed Shah in 1423 to offer Muslims a place for Friday prayers.
