Stadio Adriatico - Giovanni Cornacchia
What can be a better way to enjoy a trip to Pescara than watching a football match at Stadio Adriatico – Giovanni Cornacchia. It is a stadium used for 1960 Summer Olympics for some of the football preliminaries. In past, the stadium has hosted a number of Italy national football team matches.
A Roman Cathedral in the city, Pescara Cathedral is dedicated to Saint Cetteus, who was city’s patron saint. It has been the seat of the Archbishop of Pescara-Penne since the creation of the archdiocese.
