    Mildenhall, a market town, is located in Suffolk, England. Within the town are situated the large Royal Air Force base, RAF Mildenhall, and RAF Lakenheath. Years ago Market Place (town's center) with its 16th century Market Cross was used to hang criminals. There is a parish pump which still stands in the market place, serves as a memoir that till 1940's piped water was not available here. St. Mary's Church retains its several 12th and 13th century features even after renovation in the 15th century. Nearly 380 square kilometers of the region's area is covered under the Forest Health.

    Mildenhall & District Museum
    The Mildenhall & District Museum aims at preserving art and artifacts from the region. The exhibits here cover almost half a million century. In the museum are rooms dedicated to pre-history with flints and fossils, community room of 1950's, Lakenheath Warrior, his horse and his artifacts from the grave. Also visitors get the chance to learn about the important role of Mildenhall’s air base during World War II. Entry to the museum is free!
    Mildenhall St. Mary's Church
    This beautiful Church of St. Mary in Mildenhall is still open for public throughout the year. The stained glass windows, the wooden angles supporting the roof, and more such sculptures are treat for all art lovers. Numerous signboards are placed throughout the church enabling visitors to learn the history of Mildenhall, Suffolk, and England.
    Sandringham Palace
    Sandringham Palace served as the royal home to Queen Victoria, bought in 1862. Today as well the palace is used by royal family as Summer Vacation Home. Housed in the palace is a museum which is full of antique cars and other royal belongings. The garden surrounding the palace is also charming and a great place to walk.
