The almost paved walking path following the rim of the Grand Canyon for somewhat 13 miles, Rim Trail boasts an amalgamation of sun and shade from scattered trees. This trail is one of the most scenic walks in North America and offers stunning vistas. It is accessible from the front of the visitor center at Mather Point in the Grand Canyon Village.
A seven-mile drive along with canyon rim, Hermit Road is the most popular and picturesque route in the park. One can drive his own vehicle here between the beginning of December and the end of February. In other months, visitors can take park shuttle buses.
The most famous hike in the Grand Canyon National Park, Bright Angel Hike is a long hike including a round-trip to Bright Angel Campground and taking two days for completion. Most of the visitors only cover a small portion of the hike in order to get the feel of hiking. This exciting hike includes canyon walls with sharp drops and steep cliffs, with some segments being ice-laden even when conditions at the top are dry.
