Santa Ana Zoo

The Santa Ana Zoo in Santa Ana is a 20-acre zoo that is best known for its extensive range of flora and fauna native to Central and South America. Opened in 1952, this top-notch zoo is a kids’ magnet for its kids’ train called the Zoofari Express. It is driven by two 14-gauge railway locomotives, one of which was built in the 1950s.

Discovery Cube Orange County

Home to over 100 interactive scientific exhibits, the Discovery Cube Orange County is a science museum in Santa Ana. It is aimed to raise scientific curiosity in children. You should visit here for here for two of its major exhibits- the Science of Hockey (to learn more about various scientific aspects involved in playing hockey) and the Dino Quest (it features life-size dinosaurs).
