Oceanario de Lisboa (Lisbon Oceanarium)

Lisbon Oceanarium is one of the finest aquariums of Europe & one of the largest in the world. Built for the Expo 98 World Exposition, the Oceanarium was designed by Peter Chermayeff. It is home to a varied range of fish & marine animals including different species of birds. The aquarium features 4 permanent exhibits which represent different habitats. Belem is a historic neighborhood of the city of Lisbon. Situated here are several important monuments, museums, Pasteis de Belem-a very famous Portuguese tart place.
