The main plaza of Guatemala City, Plaza de la Constitucion is surrounded by the National Palace, Metropolitan Cathedral, the Centennial Park and the National Library of Guatemala. One of the most famous historic landmarks in the city, the Plaza has played host to many significant historic events, celebrations and parades. The Kilometer Zero of the country, from where all distances are measured, is also found here.
