Thai AirAsia is a joint venture of Malaysian low-fare airline AirAsia and Thailand's Asia Aviation. Based in Khet Phaya Thai and Bangkok, the airline serves scheduled domestic and international flights from several operating hubs in Thailand. The airline was founded on 8 December 2003, and it uses its fleet of 58 aircraft to cater to 48 destinations.
AmenitiesThai Air Asia offers 4 different fare segments - Low fare, + Value Pack, Premium Flex and Premium Flatbed. All these fare segments feature cabin baggage allowance. Apart from Low fare, all other fare segments feature a checked baggage allowance as well.
- Low fare segment only allows a carry-on baggage allowance.
- + Value Pack allows a checked-in bagged allowance of 20 kg plus serves 1 complimentary meal. Passengers in this fare segment can also preselect their seats.
- Premium Flex passengers get a check-in baggage allowance of 20 kgs, 1 complimentary meal and can change their flight ticket for a maximum of 2 times. They also get priority services like Xpress baggage delivery, Xpress Check-in, Xpress boarding, and they also get to preselect their seats.
- Premium Flatbed passengers get a check-in baggage allowance of 40 kgs, 1 complimentary meal and can change their flight ticket. They are also offered a pillow and blanket. The airline reserves its priority services like Xpress baggage delivery, Xpress Check-in, Xpress boarding for these passengers and they also get to preselect their seats.
