There are plenty of check-in counters inside the airport to ensure smooth operation. Just make sure you check-in at least two hours before the flight's scheduled departure time.Check-In Desks: Passengers can check-in at the Lao Airline's desk where they'll receive their boarding pass. For international flights, check-in at least 2 hours before the flight's departure time, while for domestic flights check-in at least 1.5 hours in advance. Customer Rewards Programs and Perks
Lao Airlines values customer loyalty and that is why it offers a frequent flyer program named 'Champa Muang Lao' which rewards passengers for using the services of the airline.Champa Muang Lao: Every time you fly with the airline or use the services of any of its affiliated partners, you earn frequent flyer miles depending on the purchase. These frequent flyer miles can be redeemed for rewards like complimentary tickets, priveleged service and extraordinary convenience. This is one of the initiatives that have helped the airline in expanding its customer base.
Itinerary Modifications and Cancellations
If for any reason you want to change the reservation date or upgrade your class then you have to inform the airline in advance. There would be a small fee levied which includes the fare change and penalty. Remember the earlier you change the reservation, lesser the penalty fees is. For refunds the airline takes about two weeks, refund is only available at the Head Office in Vientiane. A small penalty is also charged in case of refunds, so make sure you cancel as soon as possible.• Passengers can request special meals in advance. For example, if you want a vegetarian meal then you have to request the airline at least 48 hours in advance.• For children between 2-11 years of age, 75% of adult fare is charged.• There are special provisions available for the disabled, just make sure you voice your concerns to the airline staff well in advance.
