The state capital of State of Mexico, Toluca is a center of rapidly growing urban area. The city is located at a distance of around 39 miles west-southwest of Mexico City. Toluca is the highest city in the country and it is known as La Bella meaning 'the beautiful'. The city was historically known for its colonial architecture in the downtown area. Today, Toluca is better known for its highly developed industrial sector. The city is also popular for delicious dishes and beautiful natural settings surrounding the city.
