A coastal town in southwest Montenegro, Tivat is located in the Bay of Kotor. The city is the center of Tivat Municipality, the smallest municipality by area in Montenegro. The geographical position, climate and natural beauty of Tivat make it an attractive tourist destination. There is a variety of restaurants in the city. Tivat is reputed as one of the sunniest spots on the Boka Kotorska and makes for a pleasant spot to enjoy a trip around the bay. Moreover, Tivat is home to Boka's largest remaining Catholic and Croat communities.

Buca-Lukovic Museum & Gallery
Located in a 500-year old fortified enclosure with its own Catholic chapel, Buca-Lukovic Museum & Gallery is an excellent place to visit for history freaks and art buffs. Visitors can ask the staff to unlock the solid stone defensive tower featuring a collection of Roman bits and bobs. At the next door, there is a well-presented ethnographical museum with farming and fishing artifacts. Heading upstairs, tourists will come across beautiful jeweler and folk costumes. The gallery emphasizes on contemporary painting and sculpture.
