Located along the Hadseloya Island, Stokmarknes is a small town in the municipality of Hadsel in Nordland county, Norway. It is the administrative centre of Hadsel municipality and is known for its scenic location and beautiful landscape. Stokmarknes is preferred by visitors in winters because the island and the nearby mountains together provide a stunning background to the town’s beauty. One would also find it amazing to visit a museum built in a local ship. This museum is called the Coastal Express Museum and is built on a hundred year old ship called MS Finnmarken. Another must visit attraction in the town is a two hundred year old church called Hadsel Church.
