Formerly Tuol Svay Pray High School, Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum is an excellent place to visit for history buffs. The site was turned into torture, interrogation, and execution center by the Khmer Rouge regime. The classrooms were divided into tiny cells. At present, it is a museum that also displays 6000 haunting portraits of the prisoners for visitors to sense the recent tragic history of Cambodia. Visit to this museum is an intense experience and offers visitors plenty of food for thought.
