Located at the confluence of the rivers Columbia and Snake, the Sacajawea State Park is a day-use park. The park is home to several wildlife mammals, birds, fishes, and sea life. Some of these include Marmots, Muskrats, Coyotes, Elk, Rabbits, Raccoons, Hummingbirds, Owls, Doves, Geese, Catfish, Salmon, and more.
The Franklin County Historical Society & Museum is a non-profit organization and was set up to preserve the history of the Franklin County and the Pasco city. It's mission is to educate people about the region's past through various educational publications and programs. In the museum are exhibits featuring Native American artifacts, railroad development, area ferries and bridges, aviation and health care, agriculture, irrigation, information on Lewis & Clark’s Corp of Discovery along with local artifacts and photos.
