The Local History Museum was established in February 1920. It is a great place to learn about the history of the area from ancient times until today. The museum is home to nearly 53 thousand exhibits which includes handwritten and printed pieces, numismatics, archaeological, natural and similar items. Also here one can see an exhibition throwing light on the nature of the southern Donetsk region.

In the year 2008, a small zoo was also opened here. Also, there is a cafe to enjoy drinks and snacks!
