Hudiksvall Vacation Packages: Affordable and Exciting Adventures Await!

The beautiful Swedish town of Hudiksvall was founded in 1582 AD as a flourishing business centre of fishing and metallurgy. With increasing tourist opportunities in the region, this town switched sides in favour of ice sports in twentieth century. It is now known for its three exercise trails on either side of the town, in North, East and West. The eastern trail has hosted the Svenska Masterskap (or Swedish Championship) for skiing a few times, while the western and northern sides are open for tourists in winter season. 80% of Hudiksvall is forest and one can admire different species of flowers while taking a walk here.Tourists are also recommended to visit Lillfjarden, a small lake in the heart of the city. The picture perfect beauty of this lake attracts visitors from all corners of the world.

Folketshus
Folketshus (or Peoples House or Workers House) was the original library of the town of Hudiskvall. The original building is on the right hand side and is more than 150 years old. The left part of the building was constructed in 1980s to match the historical right side. Its architecture is remarkably Swedish and is a stunning example of 18th century artisanship. This library is preferred by students for its extensive resources on Swedish history.
