Space Center Houston is the official Visitor Center of NASA's Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center. It is located around 25 miles southeast of Houston on the western side of Clear Lake. This space center is a home to the globally-known Mission Control, which is the monitoring unit for all the manned space flights of NASA. Space Center Houston features an interesting space exhibition with film shows, models of space capsules, astronaut's rations, samples of moon rocks, and a range of objects collected during Gemini, Mercury, and Apollo space programs.

Houston Museum of Natural Science

Houston Museum of Natural Science puts on show the exhibits allowing visitors to explore science and nature from the period of dinosaur right up to the space age. Besides its vast collections of fossils, dinosaur bones, and ancient artifacts from North America and Egypt, it also boasts a butterfly center, a planetarium, and a movie screen.

Houston Zoo
