Located in the Chippewa and Eau Claire counties in the west-central part of the US state of Wisconsin, Eau Claire is the ninth largest city in the state. The topography of the city is characterized by the river valleys, with sheer gradients leading from the center of the southern and eastern sections of the city. There are two lakes in Eau Claire, Half Moon Lake and Dells Pond. In terms of climate, months from April to October remain highly soothing and apt. Marked by several museums and a plethora of other tourist attractions, the city is an excellent destination to enjoy holidays.
