Formally known as the Cranbrook Recreational Complex, Western Financial Place is a 4,264-seat arena located in Cranbrook. The site was built in 2000 and is home to Kootenay Ice WHL Major Junior ice hockey team. Western Financial Place also comprises a full service restaurant plus express kiosk, a squash court, a candy shop, and a swimming pool with a sauna, wave pool, waterslide, and hot tub. Scores of events and concerts have been held here at Western Financial Place.
