Butte Trolley Tour:
A fun and unique way to learn about Butte, Butte Trolley Tour takes about 2 hours during which the visitors will learn about the colorful history of the city. The tour starts at the end of the Butte Chamber of Commerce and passes by several memorable sites including Copper King Mansion, Charles W. Clark Chateau, Mai Wah Museum, and Dumas Brother Museum.
The Mineral Museum:
An excellent place to visit for geology lovers, the Mineral Museum features facility containing more than 1,300 specimens culled from locations in Butte and around the globe. Visitors can also know about seismology and explore active recordings of earthquakes at the Montana Bureau of Mines and Geology Earthquake Office located inside the museum building.
World Museum of Mining:
Boasting a collection of exhibits telling the story of city's mining history, World Museum of Mining features exhibits containing a memorial for the people who lost their lives in railroad accidents, mining accidents, or concentrator. In the museum, there are around 2,500 names on four memorial walls made of black granite. There are also another exhibit named as Orphan Girl Mine, which is home to the 100-foot high head frame, the cages miners, and the Hoist House.
