Montesinho Natural Park
The city of Braganca is located on the edge of the Montesinho Natural Park, one amongst the largest protected areas in Portugal. The park serves as a natural habitat for many wildlife species like wolves, wild boars, and golden eagles.
Constructed by Benedictine Monks in 12th century, Citadel is located on the hill and provides beautiful view of the City Centre. Some of the eye catching attributes of Citadel include the Domus Municipalis (town hall), Santa Maria Church and the spectacular Gothic pillory.
