Blountville in Sullivan County is located at Tennessee in the United States. It is known for its long-standing affiliation to its historical past regarding the Civil War and some motorsport championships. The town has some surviving 18th and 19th century buildings that tell a story of its earliest days. Its historic district includes two 18th-century buildings, the Old Deery Inn and the Anderson Townhouse along with some notable 19th-century structures. Some more history was created here in 2013 when the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship was held in the town after 15 years. If you’d prefer some spooky introduction to the town’s history, you can go for the Appalachian Ghost Walks- it is a ghost tour company that organizes a ghost tour of Blountville's Historic District every year.
