Asahikawa is the second-largest city on the volcanic island of Hokkaido, Japan. The city is surrounded by hills and offers an endearing landscape of 130 rivers and streams and around 740 bridges. Aashikawa is also a touchdown point for visitors going to the nearby Daisetsuzan Mountain Range and the picturesque Biei-Furano area.
