One of Sapporo’s most famous neighborhoods, Jo Chuo-Ku is home to city’s upscale hotels like the Hotel Sunroute New Sapporo and more. The area is home to Odori Park, known as symbol of Sapporo. The park offers long boulevards that are graced by numerous flowers, trees, and fountains.

Located on southern outskirts of Sapporo, the neighborhood of Jozankei is famed for its serene natural setting. Here you will find the imposing Houhaikyou Dam. The dam contributes immensely in the beautification of the area. The dam is also excellent for picnic activities.
