Carolinas Aviation Museum
Carolinas Aviation Museum is a place which is equally appreciated by both -
the history lovers as well as geeks. The museum has exhibits on history,
technology, & evolution of air travel. Variety of aircraft are
displayed here including a replica of the Wright Flyer. Apart from this,
several military aircraft have also been put on display such as Grumman
F-14D Super Tomcat, Douglas A-4A Skyhawk, the Sopwith Camel biplane, &
Freedom Park is spread over approximately 100 acres of area. Offering
variety of activities, it is a favorite place of outdoor enthusiasts. The
park features tennis, basketball, & volleyball courts, batting cages, 4
ball fields, walking trails, 2 playgrounds, & the NFL Play360 KidZone.

Bechtler Museum of Modern Art
Bechtler Museum of Modern Art has a collection of work by some of the most
influential artists of the mid-20th century. While here, you can see &
appreciate art pieces by Miro, Giacometti, Picasso, Calder, Hepworth,
Nicholson, Warhol, Tinguely, Ernst, Le Corbusier, & Chillida. The
museum also hosts several music events throughout the year including a
monthly jazz night.
