Besides the aesthetically pleasing Art Deco architecture with interesting decor elements, you will also find a few Modern buildings, like the US Post Office. Collins Avenue and Ocean Drive are the major streets of this district. You can explore the district via several walking tours.

Bayfront Park

Next to the Bayside Marketplace is the Bayfront Park. The 32-acre park is full of beautiful sculptures and monuments. The highlight here is Pepper fountain, which is electronically controlled. The park also features the Light tower, an amphitheater for musical performances and the Challenger Memorial which commemorates the crew of the Challenger spacecraft. There is also a kids’ playground. Many locals come here for morning and evening strolls.
