The revolutionaries had emerged victorious and thus won over the city of Zacatecas. Today this museum uses technologically advanced simulations and interactive displays to enact the battle.

Cathedral

A classic example of Churrigueresque architecture in Mexico, the Cathedral is an ornately carved red-stone religious superstructure built in mid-18 ^th century. It flaunts an attractive front and features two beautifully-decorated towers. Its copula, reconstructed in 1836, comes a close second in beauty to that of the Nuestra Senora de Loreto in Mexico City.
