Museum of Antioquia, a world-glass art museum in Medellin, was the first museum in Antioquia department and the second in Colombia. This museum boasts an excellent collection of artworks by local artists, besides 17 rooms full of artifacts of pre-Columbian and colonial era and numerous 19th century painting and photographs.

Arvi Park

Arví Park is an ecological nature preserve and a pre-Hispanic archeological site across many municipalities including Medellin. This park features thick forests and walkable trails that run along constituents of wildflowers and rare plant species.

Park of Bolivar

Park of Bolivar is an urban park named in honor of national hero Simon Bolivar. Inaugurated in 1892, this park features about 100-year-old statue of Bolivar. Visitors can attend a traditional Sunday open-air concert on the first three Sundays of every month.
