•Delaware Art Museum - A must se for art lovers, the Delaware Art Museum, exhibits pre-Raphael works and pieces early-American modernism. It also houses contemporary artworks by Edward Hopper, John Sloan and Jamie Wyeth among others.

•Delaware History Museum - Nothing describes the Delaware history more descriptively than the Delaware History Museum, right from agriculture, to the state's Underground Railroad to famous Delawareans' wax sculptures. It also has a special area for the kids, called the Grandma's Attic.

•Blue Ball Barn - The country's only state -run museum for American folk art, the Blue Ball Barn in its two rooms, exhibits about 120 works by nearly 50 artists. The bizarre collection of early European and native American artifacts includes paintings, sculptures, collages and decoys.

•Brandywine Zoo - Set on the grounds of the Brandywine Park, this zoo is home to 150 animals representing nearly 56 species. Interesting animals such as the Tamarin monkeys and Siberian tigers make the zoo specially interesting.
