Vitoria-Gasteiz is the capital city of the Basque Autonomous Community and of the territory of Araba in northern Spain. As the place remains snowy in the winter amd mild in the late spring, you will unquestionably want to visit in the months of May to August. The city has famous art gallery named Bilbao galleries, a beautiful ancient quarter, many incredible pintxo bars and eateries.
Vitoria's medieval downtown area is a place is full of medieval buildings dating back to the sixteenth century. They are so nicely preserved that you may think you have entered into the medieval age. The almond-formed place is mostly encircled by wall from the eleventh century with few noteworthy watchtowers.
The old town is home to various regal residences also. Bendaña and Escoriaza-Esquivel Palaces are two great samples of renaissance artifacts that visitors should not miss. Bendaña Palace holds a gallery devoted to playing cards. Visitors can play cards and enjoy this fascinating place to the fullest.
Outside of the old town there are a couple of new and magnificent places like Palacio de Augustin-Zulueta. This place has turned into a museum of fine arts. The art gallery is in the Ajuria Enea Palace where the President of the Spanish Basque Country resides.
