Tasiujaq is a northern village in Nunavik, in the province of Quebec. Built on the shores of the Leaf Lake, the region has abundant marine life, seals, ducks, musk-ox, Atlantic salmon, and many seabirds. The village has low tide harbour five kilometres away on Rowe Island. The village’s airport, Tasiujaq Airport is situated a few kilometres south of the village. The village is at the end destination for the canoeists moving down the Leaf River.
