Tanana (also known as Hohudodetlaatl Denh in Koyukon language) is a city in the Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area in Alaska, US. Situated literally in the heart of the Alaskan wilderness, Tanana offers some of the best fishing, camping, hiking, hunting and four-wheeling hotspots to all its visitors.

It is located at the confluence of a tributary of Tanana River and Yukon River, and its coordinates are 65°10?14?N and 152°4?33?W. The city is spread across 15.6 square miles, out of which 11.6 square miles is land and the remaining is water.

The city is served by Ralph M. Calhoun Memorial Airport, which is located at the western edge of the city and lies about a mile away from the city center. The airport offers multiple scheduled passenger flights to three Fairbanks, Hughes and Huslia through three airlines- Warbelow's Air Ventures, Wright Air Service and Arctic Circle Air.

Please note that boat transport on the river is also possible during the summer season.
