administrative and political center of the country. The best way to explore
this city is to take a city tour by hopping on a city sightseeing
double-decker bus. Most of the city tour includes the 'three' Panama
cities: The Spanish colonial city Casca Viejo, the ruins of the 16th
century original Panama Viejo, and the modern skyscraper Panama City. The
modern city becomes a nightlife hotspot at the nightfall. Bars, clubs, and
casinos come alive and visitors can enjoy tropical drinks, salsa dancing,
and sensual Latin music. Some of the major tourist attractions in Panama
City are Panama Canal, Panama Viejo, and Casco Viejo to name a few.
Colon is the capital of Colon Province in Panama. The city is perched on

During this season, snowbirds from Europe and America flee from their freezing homelands and visit the land thus offering tourists an opportunity for birdwatching as well. The wet season is an apt time to visit Panama for those traveling on a budget. Both airfares and hotel prices are best during this stretch of time. It is advisable to book tickets in advance to get cheap flights to Panama.
