Nieves Latte Stone Quarry is one of the most remarkable surviving landmarks from this time period. It is a massive unfinished limestone quarry located near the Rota village of Sinapalo. It is not known why this grand project was suddenly forsaken, but some of these structures stand as high as 25 feet and their stones date back as far back as 845 AD.
