Moultrie is home to a world class Olympic diving well, the world renowned Ellen Payne Odom Genealogy Library, and a country club with 18 hole golf course. The warm climate and beautiful surroundings of the city makes it a perfect vacation destination.
    Museum of Colquitt County History
    The Museum of Colquitt County History is a must visit place for history enthusiasts. The museum showcases objects featuring early life in Colquitt County. The vast collection ranges from rare Native American artifacts to Civil War memorabilia. Recently a permanent exhibition of a Colquitt County Sports Hall of Fame has been added to the museum.
    Old Colquitt County Jail
    Old Colquitt County Jail is one of the most distinctive. The building has been designed in the Gothic Revival architectural style. Established in the year 1915, the building has terrazzo floors, Georgia granite, and Oriental brick. It was even termed as "the finest, best architecturally designed jail in Georgia". After its renovation during 1990s it became home to the Moultrie-Colquitt County Chamber of Commerce.
    Reed Bingham State Park
    Located nearly 20 miles away from the city of Moultrie, the Reed Bingham State Park is spread over 375 acres of land. The park is quite famous among skiers, boaters, and fishing for catfish, crappie, and more. To explore the lake lined with water lilies and tupelo trees one can rent canoes and kayaks. During summers guided pontoon boat tours are also available. The park offers several picnic and group shelters for parties and celebrations.
