The former ‘Furniture Capital of the World’, Jamestown is a small city in Chautauqua County, New York, United States. It is triangulated by Lake Erie, Allegheny National Forest and Chautauqua Lake. Gov. Reuben Fenton Mansion
Gov. Reuben Fenton Mansion is a 19th century Italian Villa style-residence of a noted American merchant known as Reuben Fenton (1819-85). After his death, one part of it was subsequently turned into a recruitment center during the Second World War and the other was used to house a chapter of Grand Army of the Republic until 1960s. In 1964, a museum called the Fenton History Center was built inside it.
