Parque Historico Guayaquil
Parque Historico Guayaquil is the place where colonial history meets animal kingdom. The park is separated into three zones - the Endangered Wildlife Zone, the Urban Architecture Zone, and the Traditions Zone. Parque Historico Guayaquil is home to several species of birds, animal, reptiles, and also showcases the development of early 20th-century architecture and local traditions of the city.
Fortin del Cerro
One of the excellent places to visit for history buffs, Fortin del Cerro is a hilltop fort that had played a significant role in defending the city against pirate attacks during early days of the city. During big celebrations, the cannons are sometimes fired from the fort.
