Officially the Republic of Fiji, Fiji is an island country in Melanesia. Viti Levu is the largest of the islands in Fiji. It is the site of Fiji's
primary airport located on the western side of the island. The interior

island's southwestern side, Kula Eco Park is a wildlife preserve that is
home to endangered crested iguanas. Another excellent place to visit for
nature lovers, Sigatoka Sand Dunes National Park encompasses high sand
dunes and is famous for bird-watching and hiking. The Upper Navua Gorge,
located in Viti Levu’s mountainous interior, is a canyon used for rafting.
History lovers must not miss out on visiting the Fiji Museum boasting
archaeological relics dating back more than 3,500 years.

Weather-wise, the best time to take Fiji flights is from July to September. It is the sunny and drier period of the year. It is also the peak tourism season in the country. It is advisable to book tickets in advance to get cheap flights to Fiji as airfares tend to rise during peak season.
