Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary
Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is the world’s largest and oldest koala sanctuary. Located in the Fig Tree Pocket suburb of Brisbane, the sanctuary has a kangaroo reserve as well, where visitors can pet and feed uncaged kangaroos. Tasmanian devils, echidnas, wombats, platypus, cockatoos, kookaburras, cassowaries, emus and many Australian parrots can be found here. A trip to the sanctuary is surely a delight for animals and nature lovers alike.
Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt. Coot-tha
Mt. Coot-tha are located at Toowong on the Mt. Coot-tha. The gardens offer panoramic views of Brisbane and are considered to be Queensland’s eminent subtropical botanic gardens. The Brisbane Botanic Gardens comprises the largest collection of Australian rainforest trees. Several indigenous plants, ferns, wetland plants, bonsai, cactus, bamboo and fragrant plants are also found here.

This period is considered to be the peak time to visit Brisbane due to mild temperatures and dry days.
